Arctic Cathedral Tromsø is an independent visitor guide to the Arctic Cathedral (Tromsdalen Church) in Tromsø, in northern Norway. It sets out what entry costs, when the church is open, which concerts are held inside it and which are in Tromsø Cathedral in the centre, and how to get there. We do not run the church, organise concerts or sell entry tickets.
Where the facts come from
- Entry prices, opening hours, concerts, access and the building: the Arctic Cathedral’s own website, read on the date given on each page.
- Summer concerts, the midnight sun and the polar night: Visit Tromsø, the region’s tourist board.
- The Tromsø Bridge works and the buses: the Norwegian Public Roads Administration (Statens vegvesen) and the cathedral’s access page.
- The Fjellheisen cable car: Fjellheisen’s own website.
- Tickets and tours sold online: the GetYourGuide listings, read in US dollars and dated on every page with the month we read them.
- Guests’ experiences: the newest reviews on GetYourGuide, summarised with the date we read them.
When the cathedral’s own pages and another source disagree, we give the cathedral’s figure and note the difference.
